British flag - to signify text in the English language TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE ZIETZSCHMANN - PREUSS AWARD
  1. The Zietzschmann - Preuss Award for the furthering of veterinary embryological research shall keep the remembrance of OTTO ZIETZSCHMANN (1879-1957) alive and stimulate and honour pertinent research work. As a rule it shall be rewarded once a year. If several authors participate in a prizeworthy publication the prize shall be awarded to the first author and the co-authors will be named in the laudatory document. The prize winner is entrusted with sharing of the prize money between the various co-authors.
  2. The fact that the Zietzschmann - Preuss Award exists will be announced once a year by means of an advertisement in Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C. Furthermore, the existence of this prize will be announced in a suitable form in human anatomical and zoological journals.
  3. The laureate of the Zietzschmann - Preuss Award will be selected by a board of trustees which consists of the actual editors of the journal Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C, as well as of the donator of the prize. The board of trustees elects its chairman from the board. The order of procedure is given to them by themselves.
  4. The award of the Zietzschmann - Preuss Award will be laid down in a document which is handed over to the winner(s) in such form which the board of trustees deems appropriate. The award of the Otto- Zietzschmann-Prize is combined with an amount of money which is decided upon by the board of trustees in relation to the financial means which are at disposal.
  5. As a rule the board of trustees selects the or those bearers of the Zietzschmann - Preuss Award from authors who have published their work in the journal Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C. However, authors may also be named or may apply who have published a prizeworthy work in another scientific journal. For this purpose eight offprints of the article, which could be worth the prize are to be submitted to the Editorial Board of Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C.
  6. The subscribers to the journal Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C, have a nomination right for the award of Zietzschmann - Preuss Award. Reasonable nominations are to be submitted to the Editorial Board of Anatomia- Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C.
  7. The decisions of the board of trustees are made under eliminating legal proceedings.
  8. The prize winner will be named on the first page of an issue of Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C, with a short laudatory article from the board of trustees.

  1. Der Zietzschmann - Preuss Preis zur Förderung der veterinärembryologischen Forschung, kurz Zietzschmann - Preuss Preis, soll die Erinnerung an OTTO ZIETZSCHMANN (1879-1957) wachhalten und einschlägige Forschungsarbeiten anregen und auszeichnen. Er soll in der Regel jährlich einmal vergeben werden. Sind mehrere Autoren an einer preiswürdigen Veröffentlichung beteiligt, wird der Erstautor als Preistäger genennt und werden seine Mitautoren in der Urkunde aufgeführt. Die Verteilung des Preisgeldes wird in die Hände des Preisträgers gelegt.
  2. Über das Bestehen des Zietzschmann - Preuss Preis unterrichtet einmal jährlich eine Anzeige in Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C. Auberdem wird die Existenz dieses Preises in geeigneter Form in human-anatomischen und zoologischen Zeitschriften bekanntgegeben.
  3. Über die Zuerkennung des Zietzschmann - Preuss Preis entscheidet ein Kuratorium, das aus den jeweiligen Herausgebern der Zeitschrift Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C, sowie dem Stifter des Preises besteht. Das Kuratorium wählt aus seiner Mitte einen Vorsitzenden. Es gibt sich seine Verfahrensordnung selbst.
  4. Über die Zuerkennung des Zietzschmann - Preuss Preis wird eine Urkunde ausgefertigt, die dem (den) Träger(n) in einer vom Kuratorium festzulegenden würdigen Form übergeben wird.
    Die Zuerkennung des Zietzschmann - Preuss Preis ist mit einem Geldbetrag verbunden, über dessen Höhe das Kuratorium nach Massgabe der vorhandenen Mittel entscheidet.
  5. Das Kuratorium wahlt in der Regel den oder die Träger des Zietzschmann - Preuss Preis aus dem Kreis der Autoren, die ihre Arbeit in der Zeitschrift Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C, veröffentlicht haben, aus. Es konnen jedoch auch Autoren benannt werden oder sich selbst bewerben, die eine preiswurdige Arbeit in einer anderen wissenschaftlichen Zeitschrift veröffentlicht haben. Zu diesem Zweck müssen acht Sonderdrucke des preiswurdigen Arbeit an die Schriftleitung der Zeitschrift Anatomia Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C, eingereicht werden.
  6. Die Abonnenten der Zeitschrift Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C, haben ein Vorschlagsrecht für die Vergabe des Zietzschmann - Preuss Preis. Vorschlage mit Begründung sind an die Schriftleitung der Zeitschrift Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C, zu richten.
  7. Die Entscheidungen des Kuratoriums erfolgen unter Ausschlub des Rechtsweges.
  8. Der Preisträger wird auf der ersten Seite eines Heftes der Zeitschrift Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C, mit einer kurzen Würdigung (Laudatio) des Kuratoriums bekanntgegeben.

  1. Le Prix Zietzschmann - Preuss pour la promotion de la recherche en embryologie vétérinaire est destiné à perpétuer la mémoire de OTTO ZIETZSCHMANN (1879-1957) et il a pour but de stimuler et promouvoir l'œuvre scientifique afférente. En général le prix sera accordé annuellement. Au cas où plusieurs auteurs ont contribué à la publication méritante le prix sera attribué au premier auteur et les co-auteurs seront nommés dans la charte. Le partage éventuel du montant du prix parmi les co-auteurs est confié au lauréat du prix.
  2. L'existence du Prix Zietzschmann - Preuss sera annoncée chaque année par notification dans le journal Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C. En plus, l'existence du prix sera annoncée de façon adéquate dans d'autres journaux scientifiques humains et zoologiques.
  3. La sélection du lauréat du Prix Zietzschmann - Preuss est effectuée par un curatorium composé des éditeurs en fonction du journal Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C, ainsi que par le donateur du prix. Le curatorium choisit un président parmi ses membres et il rédige les directives de l'attribution du prix.
  4. L'attribution du Prix Zietzschmann - Preuss est établie dans une charte qui est remise au(x) lauréat(s) de façon notifiée par le curatorium. Le Prix Zietzschmann - Preuss est accompagné d'un montant en espèces déterminé par le curatorium en fonction des moyens financiers disponibles.
  5. En principe le curatorium choisit le(s) lauréat(s) du Prix Zietzschmann - Preuss parmi les auteurs qui ont publié leurs travaux dans le journal Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/ Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C. Pourtant, des auteurs qui ont publié une œuvre méritante dans un autre journal scientifique peuvent aussi être nominés ou peuvent solliciter le prix. Dans ce cas leur publication méritante doit être envoyée en huit exemplaires au bureau éditorial du journal Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C.
  6. Les abonnés du journal Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C ont le droit de proposer des candidats au Prix Zietzschmann - Preuss. Les propositions motivées doivent être adressées au bureau éditorial du journal Anatomia- Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C.
  7. Les décisions du curatorium sont prises sans possibilité de recours aux tribunaux.
  8. Le lauréat sera nommé en première page d'un fascicule du journal Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia/Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C, accompagné d'un bref éloge rédigé par le curatorium.

  1. El Premio Zietzschmann - Preuss Award para la promoción de la investigación en embriología veterinaria tiene la finalidad de perpetuar la memoria de OTTO ZIETZSCHMANN y promover la actividad investigadora en dicho campo. En general el premio será anual y, si el trabajo fuera realizado por varios autores, el premio será atribuido al primero de los firmantes; en tal caso los coautores serían nominados en el acta de concesión. El reparto eventual del montante del premio entre estos últimos será confiado a la persona premiada.
  2. La convocatoria del Premio Zietzschmann - Preuss Award será publicada cada año en la revista Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia / Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C. También se publicará oportunamente en otras revistas anatómicas y zoológicas.
  3. La selección del candidato al Premio Zietzschmann - Preuss Award será dictaminada por una comisión formada por editores en función de la revista Anatomia-Histologia- Embryologia / Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C, así como por el donador del premio. La comisión elige al presidente entre sus miembros y redacta las directrices de concesión del premio.
  4. La concesión del Premio Zietzschmann - Preuss Award se plasmará en un acta cuyo contenido será remitido por Ia comisión al/los premiado/s. Dicha concesión va acompañada de una aportación monetaria, cuyo montante es determinado por Ia comisión, en función con los medios financieros disponibles.
  5. En principio la comisión selecciona al/los agraciado/s al Premio Zietzschmann - Preuss Award entre los autores que hayan publicado sus trabajos en la revista Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C. Sin embargo, también pueden optar al mismo quienes hayan publicado trabajos meritorios en otras revistas científicas. En este caso, deberán remitir ocho ejemplares de su trabajo al subcomité del Consejo de Redacción de Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia / Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C.
  6. Los suscritores a la revista Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia / Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C tienen el derecho de proponer candidatos al Premio Zietzschmann - Preuss Award. Las propuestas, razonadas, deben enviarse al Consejo de Redacción de la citada revista.
  7. Las decisiones de la Comisión no están subordinadas a recursos ante los tribunales.
  8. El nombre de la persona premiada será publicado en la primera página de uno de los fascículos de la revista Anatomia-Histologia-Embryologia / Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series C, acompañado de una sucinta reseña laudatoria emitida por la Comisión.
